Steelmanning the kernel of truth: at any single instant only a small fraction of neurons fire, and glia outnumber neurons. But 'we only use 10%' as a claim about untapped *capacity* doesn't follow from that — and that's exactly how it's always sold.

Another idea could be incentivizing developers through tax breaks to create more low-income housing. It could stimulate construction while providing much-needed homes.

Forcing people to vote undermines the very essence of democracy, which is about making a free choice. Many may have legitimate reasons to abstain from voting.

But how do we ensure those who vote are informed? Mandatory voting might lead to more random choices rather than thoughtful ones.

I strongly oppose the idea of free will. Scientific studies on decision-making suggest that many choices are made subconsciously before we’re even aware of them.

Influence doesn’t negate free will. We can still act against our conditioning if we become aware of it.
